2 July 2009 - SKICRAFT ANNOUNCES THE
RE-RELEASE OF THE CENTURY RV
 Due
to a fire that destroyed one of Skicraft's main
factories in May of 2007, the Century was put out of
production. Destroyed in the fire was some of the
small component moulds that were used to make items such
as seat and side panel frames.
In its conception, the Century was not specifically
designed as a wakeboarding boat, yet due to its size and
the growth of the sport, the Century became a
frontrunner for many wakeboarding enthusiasts.
With the advancement in variable wake technology, as
seen in the more recent Skicraft boat releases of the
Xair, Senator RV and S4, the Century's design became
somewhat outdated.
 Due
to the Century's popularity and demand, however,
Skicraft has now updated the Century's design and
re-released the Century RV. Design changes include a
standard wake plate adjustment system and new interior
upholstery. With time Skicraft plans to re-release other
models of the Skicraft Century range including the
centre mount Century C22, Century Sterndrive and Century
Outboard.
